1. Materials Physics
Studying and Researching various types of ceramic materials, polymers, metals, semiconductors, superconductors. Nanomaterial research nowadays is also of particular interest in our Program. The research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, theory and modeling. Theresearch is aimed at reveal the application variables, such as electrical properties, magnetic, mechanical, corrosion and acoustic which intended to support the industry.
The application of physics which studying phenomenon of the earth and its utilization for mapping the structure of the earth and the matrix beneath the earth's surface. The phenomenon includes terrestrial natural events which can occur in the earth, ocean, atmosphere and their interactions with human of life. The structure of the earth under the settlement is closely associated with mineral exploration interests (oil, gas and minerals) and civil construction planning. Subsurface artificial structures could be used to environmental studies and archeology.
Studying and researching optical communication devices (fiber optics, and photonic devices) and microwave (mobile communication antenna, portable-phone) by experimentally and numerical analysis with both FD FD and BPM-TD method, as well as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using holography and ESPI method.
4. Theoritical Physics
Understand, learn and reveal the fundamental laws of the world, specifically interested in the application of quantum field theory in particle physics and related current issues.
Studying, researching and developing of sensors, measurement, and acquisition of data analog or data digital by online and real time. Sensor objects include natural processes, chemical processes, and related to other physical quantities. Modeling and simulation are also developed for designing instrumentation systems and control systems.
